Rally Reykjavik, International Icelandic Rally - Mid August

We will stick to the Reykjanes peninsula and Borgarfjordur areas, with some new stages and some changes to the stages last year.  This is a three day event run out of Reykjavik, going to the Reykjanes Peninsula and north to the Borgarfjörður area. This gives a tighly knit event, simplifying both the reccee and service.
For those looking towards all green motorsport, a special stage rally will be offered for zero emission cars, i.e. cars powered by either hydrogen or electricity - even both. The event will also host a round of the FIA Alternative Energies Cup of 2010, which is a combination eco-driving road rally. Last, but not least, the event will host a road rally for zero emission cars.
