Puffin Season
Puffin Season
Bird watchers and nature lovers alike flock every Spring to the Westmann Islands (20 miles south of Iceland) to view the return of the Puffin - or Lundi from its long winter at sea. During this time millions of Puffins, the clowns of the sea, return to nest and lay eggs. Then in August a sight not to be missed is the flight of the puffling, when the young leave their nests and test their wings for the very first time.
