Reykjavik Hotels terms and conditions


These terms and conditions are applicable to all guests at Reykjavik Hotels.

Bookings, cancellations and charges
All bookings are subject to availability, and the Hotel shall be entitled to refuse any booking on reasonable grounds.
Cancellation policy for free individual traveller - we charge one night for cancellation within 48 hours prior to arrival as for no-show.
Guests will generally be required to provide a deposit and/or credit card details on booking or arrival.  All prices are specified per room and per night and include all service charges and the value added tax.
For groups  other cancellation policy applies.

Hotel Regulations
Check in time is from 14:00 hrs.
Check out time is 12:00 noon, check out thereafter may result in a late departure fee or an additional night being charged.
Guests shall comply with all rules, regulations and instructions at the hotel, including but not limited to security procedures, health and safety procedures, registration requirements.
Reykjavik Hotels shall be entitled to refuse a guest entry or accommodation or to require a guest to leave the hotel  if unreasonable behaviour is displayed, be it threatening or abusive, causing disturbance to other guests or otherwise unacceptable.
Pets are not allowed at any of the Reykjavik Hotels.


Child Policy
Child at the age of 3-12 years the accommodation is free of charge at Grand Hotel Reykjavik. But in Hotel Reykjavik and Hotel Reykjavik Centrum child at the age of 3-12 years the accommodation is free of charge when sharing a Deluxe Room with 1 or 2 adults but need to be charged for accommodation in other hotelrooms. Children under 13 years of age must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times while on the Hotel's premises.

Lost Property
Lost and found items will remain on the Hotel's premises for a period of three months. To claim any lost and found items, a guest should first contact the Hotel.

Complaints or Comments
We strive to cater to the individual needs of our guests at all times, so if you feel there is an area that we can improve, or if you are unsatisfied with your visit. Any complaint or comment regarding a stay at one of Reykjavik Hotels should be reported right away to the hotel’s reception at the time of your stay so that it can be resolved at the time.
Problems which cannot be resolved there and then should be notified to Customer Services or sent to the Reykjavik Hotels head office:
