Inspired by Iceland

Now is the time to visit Iceland. Our magnificent and powerful nature has never been more alive.

Iceland has been on the news a lot for the past few weeks. Of course there has been a lot going on, there isn’t an eruption in Iceland every day. Never the less Icelanders are used to this, nature plays a big role in our lives and we’re proud of our land.

Inspired by IcelandThe eruption in Eyjafjallajökull has given Iceland media attention like never before. The downside of course is that people are nervous about coming to Iceland. And now the volcanic activity has gone quiet.

The spring is busy changing Iceland into its seasonal costume of bright green and the migrant birds have returned to the North, signalling the advent of summer.
Iceland is one of the best places to witness the forces of nature at work. Icelanders are used to the geothermal wonders of the island and have learned how to make the best of it - as a result we are among the world leaders in green energy and sustainable development. Iceland is the only western country that produces all its electricity from emissionfree and sustainable natural resources in the form of geothermal and hydro power.

From it’s art, to it’s music, to food and now it’s nature, Iceland is literally bursting with more energy than ever before.
That’s why now isn’t a time to stay away, this is a time to get closer.
It’s a time to get all the people who love it, to love it even more.
And for all of those who haven’t discovered it yet, to come visit it at it’s most exciting moment. every day, even today, or tomorrow, or when a volcano erupts you will always be inspired by Iceland.
