Upcoming events in Reykjavik are to celebrate the coming of summer and Reykjavik Children's Culture Festival.

The Reykjavik Children's Culture Festival is held on the April 19th - 25th 2010. There are three main aspects of this festival held for the first time this year. Children’s culture, culture for children and culture with children. Reaching all corners of Reykjavik city from the slopes of Mt. Esja to the bottom of the swimming pools, the festival is meant to become an annual event.

Summer is just around the courner and the first Day of Summer is on the 22th of April. Icelanders love to  celebrate and the coming of summer is celebrated with parades and family events. Lots of fun things going on all over the country and within the capital city.
